From now through July 1st, five Safe Routes to School sub-committies are working to identify specific solutions (and associated costs) related to the following goals: 1. Improve sidewalks and pathways for walkers and bicyclists, on and off school property. 2. Improve safety at intersections on school routes. 3. Improve student safety on walking and bicycling routes. 4. Develop, promote and reinforce School Route Plans and communicate clear arrival and dismissal policies.
5. Increae the number of walkers and bicyclists through encouragement programs.
